Species:A. huinculensis Argentinosaurus was one of the largest dinosaurs ever, only smaller than a newly discovered Titanosaur. Almost as large as a blue whale, few things could pose a threat to it as an adult. However young would be vulnerable to predators such as Giganotosaurus.
Growth Cycle[]
The growth rate of Argentinosaurus was spectacular, hatching from football sized eggs to giants in a span of about 30 years. However few would make it to this size as the whole strategy was the parents would produce so many eggs predators could not eat them all, and thus a few would survive to become adults. This strategy was highly effective even though few would survive.
